About the course

This course is the online home for Hank Williams’s Intro to Africana Studies sections (AAS 166) at Lehman College. This is the Africana Studies Department’s introductory course. The course presents a broad thematic overview the discipline of Africana Studies and an examination of  key issues in our field. This section is taught from an African centered perspective.

Fall 2022 class sections

There are two different class sections this semester. Both sections will meet on campus in person.

Section XM81 (code 52249) meets on Mondays in the 6-8:40 PM time slot in Carman 331

Section 1F meets on Mondays/Wednesdays from 1:30-2:45 PM in Carman 332
